Miles Stum - Pre Veterinarian Student at K-State University
Miles came to NVS from Syracues as a Summer intern while he was still in high school. He graduated high school in 2022, and is currently a Freshman in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University. Our team could not be any more exciteed for this guy. His big, big, dreams on becoming a Veterinarian like his hero Dr. Clay Keeler are coming true. Miles has a love for the large animal side of veterinary work, he grew up showing livestock and that is where the passion started. During his Summers and any other breaks, he spends his time doing a multitude of duties assisting in every area at NVS. This past summer was spent building the Large Animal Faciliy that he helped design. Dr Ron and Miles decied to call their creation the “LAF”. He welded the entire corral himself. When he had free time, before vet school, he enjoyed riding his jetski, hanging out with friends and going to K-State games. He is always in a happy and up-beat mood that is very contagious. We definitely enjoy when Miles is home on break and back in the clinic. This guy will make a great veterinarian.
