Miles Stum - Pre Veterinarian Student at K-State University

Miles came to NVS from Syracues as a Summer intern while he was still in high school. He graduated high school in 2022, and is currently going to Kansas State University. Miles will hopefully be accepted into the Veterinarian program. He has big, big, dreams on becoming a Veterinarian like his hero Dr. Clay Keeler. Miles has a love for the large animal side of veterinary work, he grew up showing livestock and that is where the passion started. During his Summers and any other breaks, he spends his time doing a multitude of duties. Such as assisting with large animal appointments, shadowing surgeries, burning boxes, painting fence, mowing, being Mr. Fix-it, and his favorite activity is pulling trees. He’s so great at mowing that he has even won an award for “Showing Exemplary Mower Control and Operation.” Miles is an avid lover of Ford trucks ha ha and hopes to have his own collection of Fords after becoming a Veterinarian. When Miles has free time he enjoy riding his jetski, hanging out with friends and going to K-State games. He also enjoys bird watching, coloring color books, and collecting seashells. Ha Ha! He is always in a happy and up-beat mood that is very contagious. We definitely enjoy when Miles is home on break and back in the clinic. This guy will make a great veterinarian.
